I've never been in an IDP league before so I'm kind of in the dark here. We start two DLs, two linebackers and two DBs. I plan to go offense for at least the first four or five rounds, but after that, what's the best way to go?

After youve filled all your offensive starters at the earliest. Go to the players screen and see how much the idp would have scored last year it will give you a guage on where they fit in.
honestly unlike offensive players theres not much differnce between number 1 and number 30. Hope it helps good luck.

It really depends on the scoring in your league. But the typical league Scoring means IDPs are not going to get you game busting scores. There are some guys out there but I would say draft IDPs last. After Ks.

Kickers will gain you roughly the same amount of points weekly as any good IDP. BUT...there are many more IDPs than kickers.

I'd wait much longer than that - even after kickers.

Here's the thing, defensive players are a crap shoot. For example, Ray Lewis and Brian Urlacher are among the most dominating defensive players in the game; but they don't get alot of INT's or sacks, and thus don't actually generate a lot of points.

It's a total crap shoott, so I wouldn't waste any high picks on DP's. I think a guy no one ever heard of (and I can't remember his name!) led the league in sacks for Oakland last year.

Don't waste picks - instead, pick up guys during the season based on the match up they have this week. 85%+ of your points will come from your offense anyway.
