Image is everything. It is what people base their first impressions on. Companies pay other companties millions of dollars a year to improve their image. Celebrities have individuals that they pay to improve their image. Image is your outward vision. How do you want to be seen?

Well iam not going to sit here and lie and say it does not matter what other ppl think of you. To be honest it does. Many ppl may say it do not but you have to look at it this way if your trying to impress a female or male you are going to try to look your best so they would notice you. image is also important b/c if your heading to a job interview you would want to show the employer the well educated and intelligent side of you. Although at times you may feel like image is not important in reality the way ppl see you it may have a huge effect on the way you live your life. I wish i can get into more details,but iam at work and i have to do what i got to do hope this helped you in some way.

It depends on what you want to do.
At work, the way you look is judged by your clients. Imagine someone who doesn't know you plans to spend a lot of money on a project. If there aren't many objective ways to show the quality of your work, the client will decide if he or she can trust you and your work partly based on your appearance. The client might go to someone else if you are dressed in a sloppy manner.
It isn't fair, but that's the way many work places are.
In social situations, people might judge you on your appearance, especially when they meet you for the first time. When someone has a limited amount of information on which to base his or her opinion, he or she might use your appearance to make assumptions about you. Again, not always fair, but common.
Having a good image doesn't have to cost a lot of money. Wearing neat, clean clothes that are ironed if appropriate can help. Being well groomed doesn't need to cost a lot, either.

Image should not be important. I personally think the mind and a personality are more important that looks. You can be the most handsome well built person in the world but without a good personality you would not get my attention. The brain is the largest sexual organ in the human body and if you can't stimulate mine for more than 20 minutes you are not worth the f u c k . In other words if we can't have a normal conversation for more than 20 minutes you are not worth my time no matter how good looking you are.
