I would suggest a macbook, those cose $1099. They can run windows but to run windows it would cost about $200 for the software. You could always go to http://www.dell.com and they have some good laptops for a good price, they are also fully customizable.

Look who's giving u advice. I'm a novice, 2 months on computer. I was going to tell u to contact a computer-geek, but yr already a geek (computer)! How about consumer report, or isn't there a high-tech computer report company? Maybe cue
on google,, type in Thailand, computers, high memory n processer , and if yr bilingual, maybe cue that in too. Hope it helps!

okay, go to HP.com (BEST computer company out there, it's outselling Dell and all the others on the marker right now) and they have a personalizer... you pick what you want, how much you want to spend, and all your preferences.
i got my laptop, incredibly amazing, from HP. i loveee it!
