What a very stereotypical remark. Some or if not most women don't aspire to live like men. They call this the penile envy complex. Just because they possess such traits attributable only to men do not indicate that they want to cross over. Just because, they are strong, independent, strong willed, intelligent,self-confident,brave, proud, competitive, less emotional, has more abstract thinking, more technically skillful, and successful do not indicate masculinity tendencies. As a matter of fact, the opposite is true in most cases. A woman could be very comfortable in her femininity and yet is very assertive which is often misconstrued as aggression, a strong typical trait of man.

Men lead much easier lives than woman...generally speaking. Here are several reasons why:
1. The woman is burdened with the ability to reproduce. Menstruation, breasts and labour are not the most enjoyble things on earth.
2. There is enormous pressure on women about physical appearances.
3. They are the object of sexuality and sexism.

Because it just feels right and natural maybe. What is 'man' or 'woman'? Who decides what aspects and traits each must show in order to be worthy of their title? Gender is something you FEEL, not something that is predetermined by what your sexual organs are. Gender is blurred, it evolves and changes with mood, different company and influences. I think sex is more fixed - unless you decide to lop things off or add things on, and then you're getting into a whole other area!

In what way do you mean? There are many independent women who are able to take care of themselves without a man. Or are you referring to women who cross-dress as men? Or perhaps you are asking about lesbians?

when you say "live like men" do you mean that they literally live as men or that they have adapted a male life style... and if thats what you mean, does that mean that you feel women should have a different life style than men?
