We're going to be hearing a lot about what good an implanted RFID chip will be for us. The first step towards these is the Real ID act, which, once it comes into affect in May 2008, will give every American citizen a national ID with a bio-readable form of identity (such as a retina scan or fingerprint). However, the implantable chip is coming right after that, all in the name of convenience, safetly, and, most impoartantly, to further fight the war on terror.

So the question becomes, are you going to follow lock-step into this government ploy to gain more control over the American populous, or are you going to show your backbone and not accept a national ID card/implantable chip?

We already have a National ID, it's our S.S. number. Why do you think Congress passed a law under Republicans that new borns must get a S.S. number at birth? The next step is to attach a finger print to the national S.S. number. That's easy. Why do you think Government "military recruiters" are allowed in our high schools?
They are also permitted access to list's of names that are 18 years or older. Bush just drafted 35,000. Who is next?
BTW, if you can not buy or sell without a S.S. number and finger print on record "with the Government", how will you eat with no "mark of the beast".?

[edit:] After seeing other's anti-christ remarks, I wish to further state, that this isn't the mark of the beast, but a prototype in a sense. It's the mark once people need to blasphemey God and/or worship the devil to get one implanted. This isn't mainstream yet, so it'll be a while still. I read 2022, but it could be later than that. Anyhow, don't get one regardless.

They think that terrorists are stalking their every move, so they think that if the government follows every move too, then they're safe.

They are no safer and will be no safer with a National ID.

Of course, the irony is, a national I.D. only centralizes all the information that people need to be an identity thief, making theft even easier - and more difficult to overcome.

I don't like the idea of the implantable chip and I plan to protest it...The whole idea makes me extremely uncomfortable.
