In Windows, Apache has a lot of registry bindings, so it wouldn't work very well from a thumb drive on any system. You should be able to install it to the thumb drive however, so the main files don't take up hard drive space. PHP is probably not a problem, you will just need to restart the apache server on whatever system you plug the thumb drive into.

MySQL I believe, has the same issue that Apache does with registry settings.

don't know about Wamp or Apache, but I do have PHP and MySQL on my thumb drive. I think Apache server may run as an install on the drive but I'm not sure. I'll try it and let you know sometime saturday
