My cell phone bills are around $37.00 to $45.00 a month. I used cell phone very little, only for emergency. Like when I get lost and don't talk a lot on the phone. Is prepaid phone more economical for me?How prepaid phone owner pays taxed and all? What kind of expenses they charge from using the prepaid phone? What is the quality of communication/transmission?

Cingluar has a good pre-payed plan. I have my parents on this plan because they only use it for emergencies. The best part is the minutes you dont use roll over to the next month. I think they pay $20 for 3 months of coverage and the unused minutes are added to the next month. Check it out to see if it will work for you.

prepaid is more economical but you may have to buy a $100.00 pre paid card because you have a year to spend it most prepaid cards expire 30 days after activated with no carry over. So ask questions to dealer when shopping for prepaid. Most phones can be switched to a prepaid. Good Luck!
