It is considered one of the greatest TV series ever. I saw it when it originally came out and have the entire series on tape. The writing was sharp and the acting top notch. I loved how they would put in a sub-plot underneath the main plot. I believe they spent up to 6 months on each episode. It is the way a TV series should be.

One of my favorite shows of all time. The one where Basil has a concussion is my favorite -- but it changes, because there are so many funny episodes.

It always was. It should have lasted longer. John Cleese was Hysterical.
