i am going on 13 weeks...and when i get up early i get real sick..anything that helps...this pregnancy has been really tough...i didnt have no symptons with my son...i guess thier all diffrent?

Yes, each pregnancy is different. I have had 4 babies and not one pregnancy was the same. For the early morning sickness, it is often recommended to eat a couple saltines before getting out of bed. For me, though, I would eat them and still throw up, so it didn't prevent the nausea, but it did put something in my stomach to throw up. I tried most of the recommendations such as eating small amounts many times throughout the day and avoiding spicy and acidic foods. Seems like none of them ever made the sickness go away. With my only son, I was sick all throughout the pregnancy beginning even before I had gone to the doctor to confirm the pregnancy. That was back in the day before home pregnancy tests. My youngest daughter, I developed Gestational Diabetes and was sick in other ways with her - never threw up even once, but had terrible stomach pains and lived on soup and toast most of the preganacy. My oldest and middle daughter were pretty normal with morning sickness in the first couple months and then felt really good the rest of the pregnancy until near the end.

Here are some things you can try in the morning and any other time that you experience morning sickness:

1. Try not to let yourself get hungry; an empty stomach can increase nausea.

2. Keep a supply of Saltine crackers handy. Have some in the morning before you get out of bed to settle your stomach.

3. Avoid high-fat foods - especially fried foods - and stay away from spicy and acidic foods.

4. Eat foods high in B vitamins, which decrease nausea.

5. Add a bit of ginger to your diet in the form of ginger ale, ginger tea or gingersnaps. Or use ginger in your recipes.

6. Experiment with natural remedies such as papaya enzyme, vitamin B-6 or acupressure wristbands.

7. Drink plenty of water between meals. Try sparkling water with a slice of lemon.

8. Take your prenatal vitamins with food. Your nausea will increase if you take them on an empty stomach.

9. Avoid taking iron supplements in the first trimester unless you are anemic. Iron can be hard on your stomach.

10. Utilize the fleeting moments when you feel OK to eat healthful foods and get a little exercise.

I had the same thing happen to me, my first was easy but my 2nd has been harder, especially with morning sickness. I ended up living off of ice pops until my doctor told me about the medication they can give you that stops nausea and vomiting. I mean, it could be it's just going to last for a few weeks, in which its a natural thing, don't worry, but if its really bad and you can't deal with it, talk to your OBGYN and ask about the pill they use for it. It does work. It was a little hard to get down some mornings, but just take the pill with a little water after you get up, and it starts to work within a few minutes. Its not addictive or harmfull to the baby or anything like that. It just helps you keep food down, which of course is helpfull for the baby lol. But it really does work. There are different types you just need to talk with your doc about it.
I figured the same thing though. Everything is different with the 2nd pregnancy.

You mean when you wake up in the morning?

Keep some saltines on your bedside table and munch them if you get up at night to go pee.

Have your partner bring you a snack in bed first thing in the morning before you even get out of bed. Don't move until you have something on your tummy.

Eat small, frequent meals and snacks all day long. Don't let more than a couple of hours pass without eating. Keep food on your tummy at all times.

Eat crackers like everyone is saying. Also you can try sipping warm flat soda like Coke or Pepsi to settle your tummy that is what my doctor suggested, the doc also suggested Vitamin B6 three times a day to help with my nausea.

My husband always made me a pice of toast with peanut butter(I got so sick of crackers, they started making me puke) and I ate it while laying in bed, do not get up while your tummy is empty. I was so sick with my 1st, then ok with the 2nd, and then I puked for 7 months with the 3rd. They are all different. Take it easy, fortunately it does end, and it is so worth it!

Preggie pops available at some of the materity shops help or dry cracker before you get out of bed in the morning.

I have heard it helps to keep crackers besides your bed and to eat some of them before you get up. Just lay on your side eat a few, give them a chance to work, then get up.
