I have bad acne so will it cover it up? Will it make my skin breakout? Is it worth the price? Does it look good? Thanks for the help ;)

No, no, no, and no.

I have tried this overhyped stuff, and the coverage is only so-so. If you have any flaking around healing pimples, it will stick to it and make it look ten times worse.

It doesn't have any ingredients to make you break out, but it also has no ingredients to help heal breakouts.

It is not worth the price, you can get a much better product at the drugstore from L'Oreal, or a free sample from www.everydayminerals.com. I still would not recommend mineral powder foundation for your skin type, but if you're determined to try it, these are much cheaper options.

No, it doesn't look good. It will cake on any dry areas of your skin, and it has a lot of mica in it which means it sparkles in the sunlight.

I've never actually tried BARE MINERALS. But I use SHEER COVER which is actually just about the same thing. The prices should be about the same. I have consistent breakouts and I think this does a good job of covering it up. However it won't actually cover up everything like it says in the infomericals. If you're going to get it, I'd suggest using a cream to powder foundation or a light concealer to go over the breakout spots first then apply the powder. Also if you're looking for a good cover-up or foundation that won't make you break out and covers well I'd try NEUTROGENA SKIN CLEARING foundation. It works wonders.

ProActiv is probably the best to use for your skin to help reduce your breakouts. Bare Minerals does cover up *some* acne and blemishes but I would try ProActiv first to get rid of the blemishes and then you can use Bare Minerals to cover up whatever is left.

I have been using bare minerals for about a year and a half now and I LOVE it. It does not make you break out (they are serious when they say that you can even sleep in it - I do sometimes!). If I were you, to cut down on costs, I would buy the starter kit that they show on TV & then get taken off of their automatic-shipment program. I simply buy my powder off of ebay now - so much cheaper and you don't need to worry about them shipping it to you & paying for it, even if you don't yet need more. Also, I buy the 9 gram jars (I think that is what it is!) and one of them lasts me for 6 months! It is awesome at covering up any acne or scars you may have. I have VERY fair skin & so any acne I get always scars, but this covers it right up!

Proactiv has makeup. Use theirs. It's especially made for acne. Also you might want to try a way to eliminate that acne my using other Proactiv treatments.

I've never tried Bare Minerals, but it should not make your skin really break out since it's made of minerals. Although, it won't really cover up the acne completely. My mom told me that she doesn't like it.

SAVE YOUR MONEY
try Loreal Bare Naturale it works like Bare Minerals and it is alot cheaper! $14.00 versus 25.00 ! I have used both and I like the Loreal better. I goes on smoother and lasts longer. Plus it has more SPF than Bare Minerals. And you can get the loreal at Wal-mart or any drug store versus having to order the Bare Minerals.

I had acne problems in the past but I started using proactiv and using bare essentials/bare minerals and no more problems. I can even sleep in it. Love it. Good luck.

oh yeah, it covers pretty good. But try proactiv if you haven't yet.

I have a friend that had bad acne and she used the product and she loves it. However at the same time she did use a powerful medicine called Acutane. I think. But I have heard good things about the products.
