Right i am 17 an just been sacked from my job but the anoying thing is i was fired because my employer could get a immie to replace me and work 4 less money. could i take this to court for unfair dissmissal

You could claim that you were discriminated against because of your nationality...because you are not an immigrant.

Depends on what state you live in.

Example: Michigan is a fire at will state (exluding the typical discrimination cases)

This isn't technically a dicrimination suit. But the best thing you could do would be to call a lawyer, a lot of times they'll give you some free advise over the phone.

Nope, its called At Will Employment. If YOU have the right to quit at anytime, without reason, then the employer can terminate you, at any time, without reason. At Will Employment has been tested in the courts many times, and they always win.
The ONLY time you have a case if they discriminated against you for race, sex, age, national origin or something along those lines...and even then you HAVE to have proof. The burden of proof ALWAYS lies with the accuser.

There is barely anything you can do. Unfair dismissal usually can only be applied in discrimination cases.

Let them just fire everyone for cheaper workers. Then who is going to buy thier 300000% marked up product when everyone is getting paid 2.00/hr?

some countries give unbridled powers to the employer on the idea that 'who has the power to hire must have an unfattered power to fire'
