i kind of wanted the ones that have 1 strap that goes across your chest...plus kind of teen-aged backpacks please!! what color would be best?

Try Bob's, Kohls, JcPenney, Macy's, Modell's and of course Target and Wal mart
As a teen myself, I like the JanSport backpacks and last year I had a cute pink one so this year I think Im going to go with a darker color (black or brown) becasue it goes with everything! GL ♥

Target has a great variety in backpacks and they usually have the best prices.
A neutral color is always best unless you have a favorite color that you don't mind wearing everyday...

K Mart has some really good backpacks this year (and so does Goody's).
If you have a TJ Maxx nearby I'd try that too.
Make Walmart and Target your LAST resort...their backpacks weren't that great either
(JCPenny also had some cute ones!)

Personally, I like to shop at places like Target when it comes to school shoping. they have everything that you need. They have those kinds, to. The best color would be blue or pink, maybe green!

Jansport is a great brand of backpack. I have seen them in black, brown, pink, light blue, polka-dots, and checkered.

REI. One of the those muted earthy or drabby colors that all the snowboarders and skateboarders wear.

You could go to TheNorthFace.com and order one. They have excellent bookbags. Or you could go to Macy*s and get a really cute one!!!!!!!
