Oh it so fun! I went to Tennessee around Christmas- It was cold but never snowed for me. Defintly go to Gatlenburg and around there is a place called Pigeon Forge, TN. And then also Dollywood. All very fun- and stuff for little kids. In Pigeon Forge, they're is a ton of little places with Go Karts and stuff- and in Gatlenburg fun little shops to do stuff- like put put and then also something like Build-A-Bear, but Adopt-A-Bear. Have fun!

I live in Nashville and be warned that late December is one of our more "variable" weather periods. Honestly it could be 60 and sunshining or 15 and snowing. One of my favorite places for kids is The Adventure Science Center .. link below.

If you're in Nashville, check out the Opryland Hotel. It's always decorated spectacularly for Christmas.

kids in winter,,,,,most of the streets roll up here in winter.......cold..take them to Gatlinburg get a chalet in the mountains,Ripleys Aquarium, lots of shops, plenty of christmas lights,,,,that may be something more for just adults....summer would be different for kids...sorry no more help than that...by the way Dollywood is closed for winter except I think one week around Christmas,,I would check to make sure I'm right on that one,,but there is more to do in Pigeon Forge for kids
