I have a PS2 game that keeps jumping. I've cleaned the disc & the tray, but it doesn't do it any good. Ideas??

If there are scratches all over the disk, then try a scratch Dr. You can pick one up at any gamer store, or really any electronics place usually. Its a simple tool that basicaly takes off a layer of the plastic coating, which removes the scratches that are interfering with you cd's performance. If the disk is fine, nothing on the surface of the disk, then something is wrong with the PS2, and you can either return it (depending on the age, and how badly it is beatup) or get it serviced at an electronics place, which may end up costing you about the same as buying new one anyway.

Try Other Games To See If They Work If They Do You Need To Sell Or Trade The Game That Doesn`t Work If Those Games Dont Work Trade Your PS2 For Another One Or Get A Disc Cleaner For $10.00

I had the same problem, but I also had one of the first PS2 consoles. Many of those had defects. The eye that read the discs loosened & tilted slightly. Unlike automobiles, there was no recall that I'm aware of & I ended up buying a new console from the 2nd or 3rd gen editions. That fixed my problems with it.

happens with mine too, but its just the disc, you can get this disc cleaning thing for 10 bucks at gamestop.

get the game cleaned good. if that doesnt work then its the playstation 2 or the game is defective...

it probably has scratches there is a kit in which u can clean it the scatches i mean then ur game will work like new
