The average IQ is 100. I like to think that 120 is average intelligence level. So yeah, there is a lot of disappointment there.

Then there would have to be a new average if more people are below the average. The average is the average because there are already folks above and below it. Now...the people that I PERSONALLY come into contact with...yes...they are below the average. lol.

Maybe so, but I know lots of people who fake being stupid for attention. If you have an above average IQ but everyone else in your neighborhood is a genius, what's the point of rising to yoru potential?? Everyone you know will be smarter anyway. Some people lose the motivation to really make an effort to be the intellectuals they really are.

Well, yeah. Statiscally it would be expected that half the people would be below average and the other half above average.
That is what the "average" qualifier is trying to measure.

I don't THINK they are, I KNOW they are. This country is breeding itself stupid. The smart people aren't having kids, and the idiots are multiplying exponentially. It's rediculous. We will soon end up like China in an over-populated, moronic crisis.
