if someone cut your arms and legs would you feel pain?
Yes you would
A baby can survive out of the womb at 6 months of gestation. granted, it would be only 2 lbs or so but with technology today, they can live.
at the age of 4 weeks gestation, the vital organs are forming
12 weeks finger prints have formed, all teeth have formed.
16 weeks, mothers start to feel movement.
18 weeks, reproductive organs start to form.
22 weeks, lungs are developing
23 weeks the body is almost compleatly formed
24 weeks is when the baby starts to plump up and gain weight. so at 24 weeks gestation (6 months) im sure there would be some pain
and to who ever said they dont know what pain is so they would not know what was going on... YOU ARE AN IDIOT! so the first time you felt pain, it didnt hurt? just because you dont know what the name for it is does not mean it is not happening!

Yes I think they do and in some D&x abortion they do tear the limbs off and remove them individually if you dont believe go to any abortion website and look at a illustration of d&X some remove the brain some remove the fetus in pieces.
Carol Everett who was involved in the abortion industry in the Dallas, Texas, area from 1977 to 1983. As director of four clinics, and owner of two, Everett was responsible for the clinics' daily operation. Everett, who had an abortion soon after it became legal in 1973, now speaks out on what she saw in the abortion industry.
Here's how Carol Everett answered questions about the abortion industry:
Q. What is the governing force behind the abortion industry?
A. Money. It is a very lucrative business. It is the largest unregulated industry in our nation. Most of the clinics are run in chains because it is so profitable.
Q. In what way is the woman deceived?
A. Every woman has two questions, "Is it a baby?" and Does it hurt?" The abortionist must answer "NO." He/she must lie to secure the consent of the woman and the collection of the clinic's fee. The women were told that we were dealing with a "product of conception" or a "glob of tissue." They were told that there would be only slight cramping, whereas, in reality, an abortion is excruciatingly painful.
Q. What type of counseling was offered at the clinics?
A. We didn't do any real counseling. We sold abortion.
Q. How did you dispose of an aborted baby?
A. We put them down the garbage disposal. Some second and third trimester babies' muscle structure is so strong that the baby will not come apart, so they must be disposed of through trash receptacles.
Q. Abortion is supposed to be a "safe" experience. What complications did you witness?
A. In the last 18 months I was in the business, we were completing over 500 abortions monthly and killing or maiming one woman out of 500. Common complications that take place are perforations or tears in the uterus. Many of those result in hysterectomies. The doctor might cut or harm the urinary tract, which then requires surgical repair. A complication that is rarely publicized is the one in which the doctor perforates the uterus and pulls the bowels through the vagina, resulting in colostomy. Some of those can be reversed, some must live with the colostomy for the remainder of their lives.
Q. Why did you get out of the abortion business?
A. Two things came into play at the same time. I experienced a profoundly religious transformation -- a conversion. At about the time I was having second thoughts, a Dallas television station did an expose disclosing the abortions performed at my clinic on non-pregnant women -- all for money! I finally realized, "We weren't helping women -- we were destroying them -- and their children." By then my transformation was complete and I knew that I not only had to stop being involved with abortions, but I had to help promote the truth.
Former abortionist, Bernard N. Nathanson, M.D., was once a pioneer and a leader in the "abortion industry." Dr. Nathanson presided over 60,000 abortions before undergoing a radical transformation. After realizing how wrong he was about abortion -- not only did Dr. Nathanson quit the abortion business, but now he admits that abortion is murder as he speaks around the world against abortion. Dr. Nathanson has written an autobiography titled, THE HAND OF GOD - A JOURNEY FROM DEATH TO LIFE BY THE ABORTION DOCTOR WHO CHANGED HIS MIND. Abortion doesn't look the same after you view it through the eyes of former abortionists like Dr. Nathanson.

I know that limbs and the head usually fall off when an abortion is performed this late. Here in California they will do an abortion up until 24 weeks (which is 6 months along). A co-worker of mine got one at 22 weeks, and her insurance paid for the whole thing, even though there was no medical reason she needed it. She was about to get married and was having a Catholic wedding and so it was an inconvience to her. I know for her that she went in, they injected her uterus with a solution that burns and kills the baby, and then the next day she goes in and they put her out and then have her deliver the dead baby. Hmm.. I wonder whay they put you out, I mean all's you are doing is delivering a baby, and when I had my daughter they didn't put me out. Could it be they dont want you to see what comes out? She got pregnant 9 months later on purpose after she got married. When she told me she was pregnant with a baby I said "Oh so now it's a baby?" then when she found out it was a girl at 18 weeks and was so excited to show us all the pictures, I was wondering if she felt any guilt whatsoever for what she had done. I had another co-worker who couldn't conceive and was such a good person and I just kept thinking of how life isn't fair!
I hope the baby doesn't feel pain. I hope God takes it away.

Yes of course there is feeling! In the first 12 weeks a baby has developedd meaning there are eyes hand legs feet gender is already being determined they have lungs and kidneys they are a little human even at 12 weeks! the only reason it takes so long to have a child is because those parts have to completely develope! By 6 months they are a baby because look at all the preemie's that are born at 6 months and make it! they come out as a baby not a blob of cells! 6 months that baby has everything a baby would have at 9 months just not completely developed! so 100% that baby is going to feel it!

All religious and moral arguments aside. Logically, Once conception occurs what is in the mother is a human life. whether it is a couple of cells of a fully developed fetus. Aborting the fetus or baby is flat out murder of a human being. One of complete innocence for that matter.
Once a baby's nervous system starts developing they most certainly feel pain. There is no difference between cutting a baby apart in the womb than waiting for it to be born and putting it on a table and hacking it apart with a big butcher knife. How a parent could do that to their child is beyond me.
I will end with this question to think about. As advanced as our world and society has become what has happened to having a higher sense of humanity? Does it not seem we are backpedaling?

Ok, I just want to clear something up. They do not call it abortion after 4 months. When I was 17 weeks the hospital wanted me to let them 'induce labor' since my water broke and they claimed the baby would not survive (less then 1%) and I would most surely get an infection and possible die. Of course, I said no. I lasted to 31 weeks, did almost die (but I didn't) and now my little girl is a rambunctious darling.
They give you drugs to induce labor and you go a through natural childbirth when it is later then 3 months.

hermanta G..... that is disqusting! No one BUT the "mother" chooses to KILL her baby. Society, father, whatever have absolutely nothing to do with it. I am 14 wks now with 2 boys. If my hubby up and left and I could never find him. Who cares, this is not my baby to kill! This baby belongs to God. So does every sinngle child, baby, fetus, embryo, whatever you want to name. All belongs to God. No way would I EVER tell Him, hey you're wrong and committ murder. People who have abortions are too selfish and have no morals or values to take responsibility for their OWN actions. They wouldn't be there if they hadn't had sex in the first place. If raped, that is horrible, but you still go with adoption, not murder! No excuse what so ever for murder. None.
Yes, it would feel the pain. Babies have their emotions in place. I can't understand why a woman would decide for murder when she can get a surrogate who will pay for everything and give the child to someone who will love and provide for the miralce's needs. It is disqusting to think about and murder is a sin any way you put it.

six months is too long to wait to have an abortion. three months is too long to wait. i don't have a medical answer to help answer your question. but i would think that once the brain is created then the baby feels pain. at six months that baby is large enough to be showing through a woman's belly. could you imagine taking a baby that was just born and slicing it's arms and legs off? how terrible. that's what i imagine when i think of women having abortions at anything over a few weeks.

They usually don't do abortions after 3 months. At six months, the baby has a chance at survival, and it would be called premature labor. I know the baby would feel something, especially at 6 months...by then their eyes are open, and they react to noises outside of the woman's stomach. It would be awful for anyone to do put a child through that!
