I bought one of those GRE prep books - Princeton Review or Barons (I can't recall). I studied the vocabulary list constantly with flashcards, refreshed myself on the math forumulas, and took some practice tests. I did very well. So I'd recommend the same.

When I prepared to tak ethe GRE (14 years ago), I got books of sample test questions and just worked through them. Each time I finished a set of questions, I checked my answers and then re-worked any I missed.

For many of the skills tested by the GRE, if you're not good at them, you won't be able to "fake it" for the test. But, you can give yourself the best chance for the score that best represents your abilities by familiarizing yourself with the test - the types of questions and the length of the exam.

Best wishes!
