In 2004,out of a 133,247(total number of births in Michigan) only 162 were ot women over 45. Which is a percentage of 0.4 for 1000 births.

You are born with as many eggs as you will ever have, you dont produce more so please dont listen to that nonsense from the uneducated.
Your eggs do "ripen" as you age and they are not as good of quality as when you were younger so if you have not reached menopause getting pg at 50 is still not a good idea as the chances of anomolies increase immensely, although, it has been known to have happened and a healthy baby was born.

Hmmmm maybe 1-2 % at 50 by age 35 -40 your body stops producing eggs...

Very low but consider the possibility of Down's Syndrome? It's not worth the chance!

I think anything past 41 or 42 is iffy, the natural way.

I dunno if you are 50 (maybe your asking this question about someone else) but please if you are that old, don't be having kids. You have to think about them. When they start college you're going to be 70 or so. When the child starts kindergarten the kids will probably mistake you for the child's grandparents.
