When it's leader's try to force other countries to give them up?

I'm American myself, but I can see why Iran, etc, would be reluctanct to give up its nuclear programs if America will not give up it's own.
What do you think?

I figure the UN won't come after the USA cause we provide such a big chunk of their funds and force.

In today's world if you do not have a Nuclear weapon you have nothing to truly negotiate with when the shi* hits the fan. No Country will use them but they are the only way to be taken seriously in today's world. That's why then need them. That's why everyone wants them. We do not go to war with countries that have nuclear weapons we negotiate with them.

There are already a lot of countries with nuclear weapons and almost every country has an WMD arsenal. The issue between countries developing nuclear armaments and those that already have them are distinct and have to addressed separately.

One difference would be that Iran has not just said another country should cease to exist, they have threatened it. While the US has disagreed with a dictator or with terrorists we have not said the entire country or race of people should be eliminated.

I don't believ the USA has made any statements about wiping any countries off the map like IRAN has. I would think thats a good reason for them not to have such weapons. The USA is not the only country with nukes nor is it the only country that wants IRAN to not start their nukes.

I'll tell you why, because we've NEVER discharged a nuclear weapon on a country just for the sheer hell of it! I know that there are some close minded asswipes out there that will tell you that "I know a bunch of dead Japanese suvillians that would disagree." but thats just a bunch of bollucks. Fact: The U.S. warned the Japs. They knew full well that if they didnt stop f*cking around with the U.S., bad sh*t was coming. Fact: Muslims extremists are crazy. They don't give a flying fornication about life. Yours, their own or mine included. If you havent noticed, the president of Iran is a complete wackjob. Fact: He denies the existence of the Holocaust. Are you kidding me? None of these *** holes should be allowed to have nuclear weapons. If you ask me, the U.S. should have struck a deal with Russia. Right after 9-11 we should have paid off Russia to deal with the Muslims, besides you damn well that they'd want another crack at the Afghan's anyway. F*** it.

USA finds itself to be the ruler of the planet. There is truly no other country that could defeat the USA alone. The USA having nukes is a way to fend itself off. Due to USA's many mistakes from the past, countries in the Mid-East are reluctant in listening to us. In a perfect world, either we all have nukes or we all don't have any. Unfortunately this will never happen, with the past having already occurred and groups of people seeking revenge towards the USA.

No of course not, that's why USA hasn't really been successful negotiating with Iran. Hmm, maybe the EU should get nuclear weapons too!? I mean, everyone else is getting them. Israel, China, North Korea, Russia (who were reducing their nuclear arsenal, but stopped because USA wasn't doing it anymore), India and Pakistan... Did I miss any? Hmm, Maybe. There's a lot of nuclear bombs unaccounted for, so anyone might have them...

nope.they would use it to attack countries and they have done that befor but other countries like Iran (my country) would use it to defend themselves against U.S.A.but I dont think that 4 percent uraniom enrichment would lead into developing atomic bombs.when we say we want it to produce fuel it means we want it to produce fuel.how could a country accuse the others whaen it is the only one who implores stupid wars on weak countries and kills and rapes innocent people in Iraq and steals their gold and oil?when do Americans want to wake up?never?maybe that is because they are missinformed otherwise they are actually interested in killing and bloodshed.and saying wiping Israel off the map means we hate Israel so much.Iran has never attacked the others.you had better dobt your own country that clearly annonce wars and threatens us to nuke us.when Bush refuses to put a cease fire it means they are interested in wars while we were trying to stop the war.nearly everyone knows what the truth is I wonder why some of you say everything up side down.why do you let propoganda to ruin your brains?by the way you are very intelligent.thanks for your understanding.

Reasonable stopped Hitler from getting the A-Bomb.
Reasonable saved millons of lives, half American to stop the conflict the the Pacific...Good chioce?
What do you think Iran would do with a nuclear bomb?
Your logic would free Charles Manson and give him the means to destroy the world also...Right?

The differance between us and them is that we value life. They value death. While we would have reservations about killing millions in seconds. they see this as a means to a end.

We have nuclear weapons to prevent countries from nuking each other and us. Thats called MAD - Mutually Assured Destruction. However- Islamists dont subscribe to that theory because they value death over life...once they have a bomb. They will use it ...and fast

What we do not want is for countries without transparent governments to have nuclear weapons. In a perfect world no one would have them, but this is not a perfect world and we need to keep them out of the hands of people who would use them, or give terrorists the ability to use them.
