i'll be going to las vegas with my friend. we are both aged 19. of course, we would like to be staying in a hotel on the strip unless it is totally out of the question? are there any suggestions as to which hotels in vegas allow people under the age of 21 but above 18 to check in without an accompanying adult? would parental/guardian consent be a feasible solution to my problem?

Just have a parent make the reservation for you ahead of time.

I live in Las Vegas and anybody 18 and up can check in to a hotel..
only thing you can't do in Vegas is drink and gamble if you're under 21 and go to certain clubs...there are some 18 and over clubs that you can got o if you're into that scene.

18 and up is adult. Adults can check into any hotel in Vegas.

Under 21, you may not be able to go into a casino. I'm not sure about this.

It's not just the age it's also having a major credit card. Last time I checked most 18yo's don't have a major credit card and the hotel has the right to charge you if the room gets trashed. No credit card aka financially responsible adult no room.

I don't think any casino/hotels will let you check in since you're under 21. If you want to stay near the strip, try Hawthorn Suites at Desert Rose Resort, 2 blocks from the strip. They allow guests under 21.

yea i think jonalicia is right. try staying at a hotel off of the strip. some hotels might also let you stay if you have a credit card. i was able to stay at a hotel when i was 19 because i had a credit card. they dont charge the room to the card, they just use it like a collateral (sp?) good luck

all you have to do is call ahead and let the hotel know your situation and they'll tell you what you have to do, but you do need a credit card to check in any hotel regardless

I think the easiest way to find out would be to find out where you want to stay and phone them.
