help on the sims 2 video game. how come i never see the "try for a baby" icon cause i want to have a baby.

like i always talk to my wife i already married her but i cant get her pregnate what do i do i have 100 percent friedns and maried what do i do???

Are you playing the PC game? If so, then select your wife as the played sim and have her select 'try for a baby'.

The possible problems may be that you used 'boolprop testingcheatsenabled true' on your lot at some point and an error occurred that put a permanent bug on your lot.

Another reason for possible problems is that if you have some hacks on your game (they sometimes come via stealth in objects or house downloads) they may be conflicting with one another, particularly woohoo hacks can tend to do this if you have more than one since they access game code and sometimes cause conflicts in the normal execution of the game.

If the error is due to game hacks, then start up your game without your hacks running. This is an option you can select on the lefthand control dial at the bottom. The three dots and the gears (or one of those subwindows). Disable custom content, restart your game.

Then see if "try for baby" will turn on. If it does, then you need to update your hacks so you have compatible ones. Modthesims2.com is a good source for tested hacks and where they report any conflicts.

If disabiling custom content does not give you the 'baby' option and if you have used testing cheats in the past on that lot, then the only thing you can do is move out of that lot and build a new one. Testing cheats can cause serious problems on lots and in game play.

If you are not talking about the PC game, I'm not familiar with the console versions so can't offer advice.

make the 2 adult sims fall in love and then go to a hot tub or double bed and tell them to relax on the bed and then try for baby or if you want to do it the easy way you can download a mod from insim try this one it helps with everything in the game and there are very few side effects if at all it works with all expansions and you just click on it in the game and make the women have a baby it's really easy oh and it goes in with all your other downloads under

Well the only thing I could think of is if you packaged a lot from University (if you even have that ep) then they are living in that house....they won't be able to have a baby because in college they aren't suppose to (not aloud). Its not set up that way....or if you downloaded something it could be hacked....so my suggestion is delete your downloads (if you have any) then go to the first website below and install the sims 2 clean installer.....then if you still download you can take out the hacks and stuff....

Is she an elder? Are they both in love? Married sims sometimes don't love each other.

Does the household have 8 people in it already?
