I used to be able to tolerate him. Now I find him an opinionated, arrogant, xenophobic who's so up himself, I have to switch over. A shame, because Top Gear is quite a good programme.

That's better.

I live in the states and I LOVE top gear. I read alot of car magazines and to find a show that is unbiased about cars is wonderful. The guys from top gear are amazing at what they do and listening to them all three argue at each other is great. I love the challenges, especially the races, and i love the test drives. Im really sad that i do not have it through my cable and that I have to watch recorded versions off the net. I first started watching back in college and i now have a place for Jeremy "POWER" Clarkson, "Hamster," "Captain Slow," and of course the Stig in my heart. All other sources of car info are rubbish!!!

Aren't most people on television? Media celebrities bore me to tears anyway but at least Jeremy Clarkson can be entertaining at times

No. I find his pure sarcasm refreshing, his attitude towards Vauxhalls very true, and the overall way he comes across on the Tv absolutely fantastic,

Top Gear wouldent be the same without the clarkster!

Oh Cognito how we differ!

Ps. Im a BM driver, and my extreme arrogance is rather how you suggested. At least one opinion you contributed was correct.

I think he is exactly what the motoring public want him to be. He is not arrogant he just gets bored quickly. He is opinionated but to be a good journalist you have to be. He also does'nt take himself to seriously and is happy to make jokes upon himself. And he also keeps cutting the Hampster down to size which although not a hard job is always worth while!!

No not really, not without reason.

The guy knows a lot about cars and is a millionaire. If I were in his position I think I might (lose some weight) be the same.

I dont think so but I get fed-up of his reviews of very expensive
cars which have no interest to the average person.

Also all the car races - what a waste of petrol !

He's a celeb what do you expect?
He also knows what he likes and dislike about cars and has no time to ***** foot about.
I like his honest opinions.
