It isnt...no town is. Its YOU that is boring. You just havent looked hard enough at the environment, animals, history or asked any questions.

You could go to New York City and if you are equally narrow minded find nothing at all to excite you there either. Every single person you meet (especially oldies) have stories to tell, love, romance, intrigue, hate, pain, jealousy, wars, heroics, sadness, disease and terror...they have all had a life. They arent about to come out and spill it to a snot-nosed kid who thinks they are boring are they?

ALL schools also do their best to educate and arrange social gatherings..its part of the curriculum. Its a teens way to put down everything they do....as its not "cool" to say its a good to be creative. You want more...join the freaking team and SUGGEST more (its hard for them too you know). You can be a leader.

And...one more thing.....I travelled a lot from age 5-30. I can tell you this......wherever you live...in the WHOLE wide world....you will sleep, you will eat, you will go to school or work, you will watch some TV or hear music, see people and dance. If you live in a place you cannot do even one of those things....you will pray for home again...where you had comfort to do so. If you have your peace stolen from you...like war-torn areas, bombs going off, death/smell/disease around you, not knowing if you will live or die, friends dying...Brechin will look pretty wonderful.

My words to you are these.....know your home town, history and the people within, thats your base.....and have work so that you can afford holidays that take you to the rest of the globe....so you will know where you fit in best.

Oh come on aren't you are being a bit harsh? I mean, City Hall is fascinating. The Dalhousie Centre is a fantastic "drop-in" daycare centre for the elderly . There's a railway reservation society AND you have pictavia right on your doorstep!
