Did you know that yahoo answers is full of some of the stupidest people on this planet?

I dont really think the people are stupid (for that is a judgement and humans do not reserve the right to judge other human beings - that right belongs only to someone who is greater than us all)
I do think the questions that are asked are not only ridiculous but not worth responding to. Some are amazingly inane, juvenile (a reflection on the state of our society) and extremely trivial.

The best question I've ever seen on Yahoo Questions came from none other than Stephen Hawking. But most of the questions asked prove how little intelligence is being used in regards to electronic correspondence (e-mail, cell phones..etc). We as humans no longer truly talk to each other - we talk AT each other.
Kinda like the actors in most of the movies out these days - tons of cliches & precious little REAL dialogue. Our technology is rapidly de-humanizing & de-sensitizing us.
The ridiculousness of the typical Yahoo Questions merely reflects it.
Of course, this is just my opinion.

You're right. But ya know what's even scarrier? I think it's a pretty good representation of the cross section of people on this planet. Which means there ALOT of stupid people out there with no sense on humor.

yeah, there are some of the 'stupidest' people on here, and some are 'funniest', also...i prefer the 'smartaleckeyer' ones, myself...if you want serious answers, i would suggest not coming to polls and surveys to post your question....we're like the black sheep of the YA family...
