Tell you what. I can frickin' beat you at your own game. While they have not lived with me, I worked at Horizon House - a day shelter for the homeless as a case manager where, over the two years I worked there, I helped nearly 100 people find their way into temporary housing, 57 of whom moved into permanent housing. Temporary housing doesn't mean a homeless shelter, it means a transitional program that give life-skills training and housing in exchange for cleaning public areas and seeking therapy or drug treatment.

Beat that, S H I R A Z.

Heck, I totally forgot about taking in a friend who's girlfriend dumped him after he moved to the city and knew no one else and couldn't afford a hotel. Oh, and when my friend's apartment got flooded, he lived with me for a month. So that's 2 that actually lived with me but could have been homeless.

None....but I work at a homeless shelter every other weekend. I assume that you are Republican, and against abortion as well. If that is the case, how many unwanted babies are you willing to take into your home? Do you know where they are likely to end up if you don't? They are very likely to become the homeless people that you despise so much.

Don't you know that the demoncraps are too busy talking about helping the homeless than actually helping them? If they start helping them, the dems will then use YOUR money.

There is no such thing as homeless people. God always provides to the needy. God created the world as a home to all.

Good one Shiraz. Mind you I do know a democrat that does dig up a couple of homeless at thanksgiving and invites them over. The problem is that he won't shut up about it and we have to hear about it over and over again.

If that is what you consider the litmus test for being a democrat, that is just bizarre...
for instance, I wouldn't say, Republicrats, how many sons or daughters did you send to the war since you think its such a great idea? See? that would be inappropriate.
