This is a very vague question. Why would we want anything different then straight people. I am for gay marriage but at this point for tax purposes only. My partner and I already consider our selves as married, we had a ceremony. I don't think that a piece of paper from the state would make us feel any different. Our terminology for each other is we are husbands. Other than that I don't feel being gay should make me feel any different about society than my straight counterparts.

I would love to be married to my life partner, and have the same backing by my government as heterosexual married couples. I always thought there was suppose to be a separation of church and state in this country, but as you can see that just doesn't happen. I don't care about the closed-minded people. There will always be closed-minded people. However, I do care about gay people parading around like idiots (half naked/doing moronic things) thinking this is the answer to our problems.

I don't know... I guess that going to a coffee and drink a cup, or maybe two, with my couple as straight people do... Walk in the street holding hands without receiving odd looks from people... Being able to kiss my guy at any time on any place I desire... To be able to do, and live as any other person in the world... At least that's want I want to do, he!

Simply the recognition of our partnerships and an end to unfair biases that affect jobs, housing, ect.... You won't ever "cure" bigotry and hatred but being able to recognise them as what they are would go a long way toward making this a better society.

I want society to accept being gay as something normal, and there shouldn't be social stigma related towards being gay.

acceptance from society as a whole. However this will never happen until gays start acting like human beings and not showing off their asses in public. i.e.---dressing in leather with their asses showing or in drag looking like last years dead cat that the dog drug in.

acceptance, i know that not everyone accepts everyone, but to be accepted just like everyone else, without rude comments when we are seen in public holding hands or something, and the nasty words people say about us because of the way we are, if all the christian bigots would just shut up, i'd be happy.
