Only way a company is going to pay is if they sponsor you and you build a stock car out of it. By the way, 70 Chevelles are on a 112" whellbase and make excellent dirt track cars.

This is a classic car and in my opinion all classics are worthy of restoring.
But I doubt that you are going to get a company to restore it for you.
I've got a couple old Nova's that slowly are getting replacement parts and eventually I will have enough $$ to restore completely.
I recommend you either save up, see if you can take a personal loan to pay for the work at one shot, or sell the car to a good home where it can have a chance at being restored.

This car is a classic. But I am not sure you'd get someone to fix it for free advertising unless of course it was a body shop that took you up on it. BUT I think MORE IMPORTANTLY WHY would you want to ruin a classic for free advertising. If I were to look at a classic and then see all this advertising well the value of the car just dropped tremendously as you have taken away from the class of this car as well as the value. But it is your car, so if you can actually get a sponsor, then do as you please.

This is a great car. I had a two door in high school and loved it. I saw one last week that was in great condition and would love to own one again. Obviously, as this car belonged to your Dad, it holds special value to you. Unfortunately, it is not the classic gem that would warrant much attention outside of the two of us.
I would suggest you pull the tires off of this one and save it until the time you get the money together to restore this beauty.
Good Luck!

Good shape and doesn't run aren't two things that go together.
