Invest in a bottle of Bragg's Liquid Amino Acid. It's in a spray bottle that you can spray on almost all of your foods to give it a salty taste. Something like a soy sauce.

Also Celtic Sea Salt, that particular brand. It provides 80 minerals and amino acids.

Two excellent products to supplement a vegetarian's diet.

From combined vegetable sources. There is no complete amino acid profile provided by a single vegetable. There are some vegetables that are protein rich and others that contain complimentary protein structures.

Corn and beans, beans and rice, are very complimentary and you will notice that they are staples in meat poor diets. However, they are still not complete and most cultures will suppliment with small amounts of meat. Some vegetarians will suppliment with dairy or even eggs or fish. Some vegetarians are stricter and will use tofu instead of the eggs and fish. Then, vegans will stick to just the tofu and add nuts, kale greens, and even specific amino acid suppliments to complete the amino acid profile for a healthy diet.

The 9 (not 8) essential amino acids are obtained in almost perfect ratio in beans, grains and dark leafy greens. A perfect combination can be found in eggs but most vegans and vegetarians don't eat eggs. Believe it or not, meat comes short regardless of what you have been told and taught.
