the groomsmen are wearing light blue shirts......
I picked shorts because it is a very casual wedding and it is in the last part of june, so i dont want anyone to get too warm.... the wedding itself is at 8:30 at night

Make sure all the groomsmen are wearing the same shade of khaki. I think a darker khaki would look sharp, as long as your husband has some color to his legs. BUT NO SELF TANNER! =) Oh, yeah, and go for a belt that sort of blends into the color of the shorts, not black. Weathered brown leather. Have fun. No white shorts for men under 60.

I think the white and khaki will look good, but the groom needs to look different from the groomsmen. I hope they will not be wearing white shirts. Blue would look nice, as long as it matched the bridesmaids. Good luck!

A white shirt with white shorts may be questionable. I'm sure white shirts with khaki shorts would look just great. Good luck with finalizing those details. Happy wedding to you!

Unless your getting married in an L.L. Bean catalog shoot, stray away from the khaki/white combo. No matter how casual your wedding is, it's still your wedding!! Try to find a nice Linen pair of slacks (or shorts); the good thing about linen is, is that it's soft, breathable, but still looks nice and pulled together...which is key for a nice, memorable look.
**Hope that Helps**

It depends on if you want him to stand out from the groomsmen. If you do, I would go with another kind of pants, but not shorts, or you can do the khaki pants with a bright or tropical type shirt. Congratulations on your wedding! =)

Khaki is fine, but a little drab IMO. Maybe a navy or something with a little color to brighten things up a bit. I wouldn't go with white either. A pure white outfit is supposed to be reserved for the bride.
I have to ask, why shorts? I know that it is your wedding, but aren't shorts a little sporty, even for a beach or outdoor wedding?

Yes, it does...
Why don't you let them all wear khaki shorts... Let the groomsmen wear a shirt of a same color or pattern while your groom wears something special too...
Are you gonna have a beach wedding?

Yes white does go with anything, I would stick with the khaki shorts and white shirt though, white top and white bottoms is a big fashion no no.... congrats and good luck
