from an american citizen's point of view, what do you think about reggaeton music climbing in the music industry?

do you think this latin music is taking over the charts?

I do not think Latin music is taking over the charts. However, I love Latin music and reggae ton. RBD is one of my favorite groups as well. As an American, I think in music, the American music charts should be made up of whatever appeals most to Americans. If it is Latin music, so be it!!

I dont think reggaton is taking over the charts but i do think a lot of ppl like reggaeton. If you really look at it crunk or south music is at the top of the charts now a days, and reggae is after

I'm a latina and the originds of this music comes from the ghetto, yes, reggaeton is gettin over the chart as it is a form of some hispanic groups to express their feelings. My very personal opinion is that is a very contagious rythm but it expresses so much the sub estimation and vulgarity of all of them. I think raegetton can be expressive as it is and less vulgar. The lyrics are Most of them really gross!!! Hate their lyrics, and the stupidity of segregation, violence and vulgarity they promote in their music.

Really I love my latin music but with clean and nice lyrics!
