from what i understand, its just temporary. i've read in an interview that sooner or later, he will return to his original costume. maybe its just a some sort of costume upgrade for the storyline. nevertheless, its still not "the" spiderman comic fans know of. its like the superman red/superman blue thing. there are just those comic things that doesnt need any upgrades in costume just to be noticed.

It's not a suit (or a suite); it's an alien symbiote brought back to earth that will eventually combine with Eddie Brock to become Venom.

As to its stupidity, I don't think it looks stupid. I think it's meant to represent the darker side of Spider-Man. However, I do prefer the comic book version of it.

Are you referring to his new comic suit, built by Tony Stark? I'm not a huge fan of the design, and work is Spidy will be going back to his classic threads soon enough, but I do like some of the gadgets in it, and hope he can keep them.

Stupid? Maybe. But it's really unecessary. They should have adapted the movie version of the classic suit.

Don't like it. While I like Iron Man, if I were Spidey, I'd tell Tony Stark, in the words of Bender from Futurama, " Bite my shiny metal ***!!"
