there pretty good, anyway to get into college doing a level 3 NVQ course or as level you need at least 5 a-c grades, but she could still do a level 2 in the subject or she can retake gcse subjects and try and get the 5 a-c grades to do the higher level of education

Correct, i located this confusing as well. Some topics (like double science) are valued at 2 GCSE's. Considering that double science are not able to be cut up into the 3 sciences of biology physics and chemistry it will jsut say "Double award science" then Grd1 could be one of the crucial grades you obtained and Grd2 could be the different. Nevertheless English is also a double discipline however may also be break up into language and literature so they do not must do this. The Grd1 column is the place lots of the grades shall be and that is the overal grade your daughter acquired for that discipline. The mark column is for in case your daughter took a moduled area, so if she used to be doing science tests (for example) throughout year 10 and 11, the mark in that column would be the marks out of one hundred that your daughter bought for the final module exam that she took (she will have to have already got the outcome for the others) Then the Equiv column tells you what grade that mark gor your daughter. Im guessing the F and P imply fail or move. Then the final column 'aspects' is what number of points that grade is valued at for illustration an A grade = fifty two elements and every person within the country that got an A would have acquired 52 features irrespective of in the event that they acquired it with flying colors or if they simply scraped it. In case you daughter wishes her 'uncooked' marks, which is the unique marks that she obtained for every of her checks she should be capable to discover from her teacher. I hope i helped :)

A to C are equivenlent to the old O level and are considered a pass. All other grades although technically passes will be considered fails by most people including the 6th form and employers. so you daughter has passed with 3 C's and failed the rest. It's doubtful she will be allowed to do A-levels and will be better off resitting the ones she failed but wait til she comes back rather than spoiling her holiday.
Her results are very bad and she is likely to be very upset. Especially as the media is full of stories of students getting top grades and comments on how the GCSEs are too easy. expect tears when she gets back, sorry for being blunt.

they are all passes. The GNVQ is a merit and is good. she might have to retake maths to get at least a c (a*-c are considered good pass grades and english and maths at least grade c are needed in jobs, for uni etc) but she should be ok to go to 6th form with what she's got. I think g is the lowest pass grade at gcse. if she can't get into 6th form, colleges are generally more flexible.

There not great but most places needs 3 or 4 A to C grades and normal require english and maths depending on what your doing to get in to college. She should get in to do somthing at 6th form unless she's pissed off loads of the staff

it all depends on what type of course she wants to take. most 6th forms ask for 5 c or above grades and ask for c's or b's in the subjects they want to study(my 6th form asks for 4 or more B grades or above and at least b's in the subjects i'm studying!) your daughter might not get what she wants with these results but then agen she might. she'll have to talk to her college and maybe do resits if these grades aren't high enough

depends on the 6th form college, at my school you had to get 5 Cs to get into 6th form because there were too many people wanting to join. Hopefully she will be able to get into 6th form though, as they are sometimes willing to take on pupils who didn't make the grades as long as they make satisfactory progress in 6th form.

you need 5 c's or above to take A-Levels, so unless her college is different then she can't do these.. However, she can re-take her exams, or do a BTEC (or something similar), for example in social care, child care or business, and this could be done at a sixth-form college. Best of luck, xxx
