Last year, we had more hurricanes than normal and all the leftist whackos were saying it was a result of Bush's environmental pollicies and global warming. This year, with the season almost 1/2 over, there have been no hurricanes and only 4 tropical depressions. Where are all the guys on the left now? Are they now saying Bush has reversed the effects of global warming and saved the planet?

(CNSNews.com) - Because President George W. Bush has "ignored the threat of global warming," Floridians can expect to be hit by increasingly destructive hurricanes, a new billboard campaign says.

Attempting to take political advantage of the devastating hurricanes that have hit Florida and the southeastern section of the United States in the past few weeks, liberal political action group MoveOn.org is saying that President George W. Bush is to blame for "making extreme weather stronger."

Nope. And they won't. It was another example of playing politics and putting party over facts. Meteorologists are pointing out that last year was supposed to be a bad hurricane year (they go in cycles! imagine that weather has patterns!) and they predicted (correctly so far) this year to be a fairly mild hurricane year. I can guarantee you that if even one hammers the US, Algore and co. will be out in force condemning Bush on environmental policy (notice they're quiet about Clinton not signing Kyoto) and decrying this as further evidence of global warming.

The liberals blame Bush for everything, but they'd never give him credit. Maybe Al Gore fixed the environment, I heard he's been working on that since finished inventing the internet.

Good thing about the hurricanes too... Nagin was so busy running for re-election that he still doesn't have a workable plan in place to evacuate the city. Their shelter system is still not complete either, rather they don't have a viable system in place. Nagin and Blanco are so out of touch with reality that they still haven't addressed any of the shortcomings that led to the unnecessary deaths after the levees were breached by flood water. They said it was FEMA's fault so many times that I think they actually believe it.

Lets hope the hurricane season stays slow so more people won't die due to Democratic bungling, lies, and mismanagement.

Mother nature has nothing to do with politics or our so called fearless leader Bush. In no way has he saved our planet actually the decisions he has done way more damage than we can ever imagine. And believe me we may be half way into hurricane season but we still have a long way to go.

Did you really ask if clop=along-George could effect weather, as in reverse a world-wide weather pattern? Ar eyou insane? Drank the Rovian neocon kool aid? The ocean waters are stil warmer, dah, and why am I trying to explain science to you? You obvious don't have an open mind.

Other than the fact that you don't understand the difference between weather and climate, you do realize that September and October are generally the worst months, right?

I'm not hoping to be right, but don't curse the people who live in Hurricane zones by tempting fate.

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......we don't want to change whatever the great luck is that we are having this year. Actually weather wise we have a lot of wind shear aloft that is knocking out the hurricanes before they can gain the strength they need to cause the damage they are capable of. Now go and do the sign of the cross and knock on wood that our luck holds.

Al Gore, the lefties and broke scientists are off trying to figure out another scare for us to fund now that G.W. has failed. They need a way to get back to the Y2K days of unlimited funding for stupid science.

Al Gore qoutes
1. "Planes will fall from the sky because of the Y2K Bug"
2. "The Sky is warming! The sky is warming!"
