This reminds me of a clever comment I heard the other day. "C" students end up running the companies "A" students work for. So it looks like it happened again, the smartest kid in the class didn't win, it was the average guy. Not to mention, Old boy Bush did have a better GPA at Yale than did ketchup boy. So as far as who is smarter, and all that who gives a damn. Its about being decisive, the Presidency I mean. You have to make decisions, and live with it. No matter what decision you make, your probably to piss off exactly half of the population of this great country.

On a brighter note, that guys answer that you've got the link to there was pretty good and pretty funny. And your little note at the bottom about 99% of the country thinking blah blah...Well, you my dear are full of it. 99% of this country couldn't agree what color the sky is. Sorry to debunk that little tidbit, but somebody must speak the truth on here, or we're all going to end up like your buddy George, stupid and misinformed.

I think your math skills are off my dear.

At least a few of those responding agreed wholeheartedly with your premise that Bush was the smartest man in the world. Some of them could even spell his name correctly.

Reading this thread was almost as amusing as reading the last one, especially comments like the one that admired Bush's ability to make a mistake and then stick to it through thick and thin.

That is his most endearing quality - he never lets being proven completely wrong get in the way of continuing to do what he's doing. No wonder so many people misunderestimate him!

Unfortunately, your original question was too obviously tongue-in-cheek. Need to come off really sounding like a sincere neocon, then you'll get some really interesting agreement answers from his supporters. As it is, you got mostly agreement responses from rabid detractors.

You are seriously delusional. First thing, America will be hated no matter who is in office. When Clinton was in office America was hated. And believe me 100% of the population thought that Clinton and pacifist belonged in the same sentence. Second, liberals live in a fanatsy world. Like Michael Jackson. See my question i am about to post for more.

Popular vote last election put in Bush and a republican house and senate!!! Barely 60% hate liberals...but that trend will continue through 2008!

Actually that is not quite true.

The words 'Bush' and 'smart' can coexist quite happily in the same sentance, as long as there is a 'not' between them somewhere ;).

And lets be clear here. When we use the word 'Bush' we mean the George W. variety, not your every day common bush, as in a shrub.

Shrubs can actually be quite clever! Well at least cleverer than G.W. Bush ;)

You weren't posing as a "neocon", you were being a complete smart ***. And yes, there is a difference. If you would actually provide me with facts that our leader is in fact debunked with no credibility, I could refute them with facts of my own...but, alas, as usual, it's just rhetoric....

He can't be that dumb, he got himself elected leader of the free world. That is more than any of us here have ever accomplished. So if is not smart I don't even know what that would make you.

Your facts are untrue. How can you say the 99% of the population. I wasn't asked. I bet I can find a few more people that weren't asked also. Can help but get 99% if the only people that you ask are moronic liberals.
