First you can try a making a website. On the restoration of your car.
Try your web site some an angle. include before shots on the site. Make it like a challenge. Found old car in the woods. Or it was my daddy's car. Or a simple challenge can an ordanary working man build a car to take on the big names.
- Have advertizing space on the site. Use articals to mention store names.
- Then collect data on the traffic of your website. track down the IP address of people visiting your site. Create marketing data.
- Bring this to the attention of the people in marketing you have helped.
- Websites are good also if they help, use your experiance to write how to's with photos. (to help draw traffic)

I don't know about a company but you could check into schools where auto restoration is taught. It will still cost some money but not as much as a shop's services.

Since you are talking about a $50000 expenditure they would need a really great reason. If there was a reason like that millions of other owners of run down old cars would be on line ahead of you.
