What do you feel by looking to the sky?

there is nothing more beautiful in this world than the sky! have you ever stared at the sky for hours during a flight? well if you didn't than be sure there is nothing more hypnotizing. it feels as though you are looking at a vast, white snowy desert; or a post apocalyptic world or...something like that. it just goes right to your heart. you keep staring and wondering if you are dreaming or if this is reality. the clouds look so rigid and tough, and they just seem to go on and on forever. and then suddenly just like a sea there's a gap in this "whipped cream crust", and the view you get by looking into that gap, oh boy! IT'S A JOY!

i know you are looking for an enlightened point of view, however, i'm a pilot, so i am warped. when i look to the sky, i see weather. certain clouds bring a smooth ride, others give you a choppy flight. when i look to the sky, i constantly ask myself, "would i fly in these conditions?".

Just one thought passes through mind when I look at the sky and that is....the creation of God is vast & that we are mere specs on the face of this earth.

At night, when there's a full moon, I stare at it for a while and think about how small it looks from down here...then I think how small the Earth must look from up there, and how so many things can be going on, at any given moment, on such a small-looking planet.
