Air goes from freezer to fridge. Defrost. Clean vents in rear of fridge with a vacuum. If they are clogged the compressor will shut down. Unplug fridge for a while. Compressor may have to reset, could take a day before it gets cold again.

Try removing the back panel inside the freezer. If the coil is frozen you will have to defrost it. You should see the coil and the heating device that prevents the coils from freezing up. Check the defroster connections but most likely ou will need a new heater. You should be able to get all the parts you need from your local Sears store.

1st off ...clean it out. The more you have in there the harder it is having to work and the food will be warmer. Thermostat should be inside the fridge.

It is usually the knob that you turn that is up near the top inside the door. There may be a different freezer one from the refrigerator one.

you need to defrost & have freon added
