Sweetie, it's called 'morning sickness', but it doesn't always work that way. Some people get sick at night, some during the day, some not at all. With me, I was sick all day long every day for 3 months straight, could do nothing but sleep. Pregnancy effects everyone differently. However, if something seems extremely strange or it's something noone has heard of, contact your doctor. there's also a website you can try www.parents.com
it's the website of a parenting magazine. Those magazines are great as well. there is a section in there each month about things that occur during your pregnancy, and as your child grows. and if you want anymore advice or someone to talk to, contact me. I'll be an email buddy if ya need one.

I was sick from the moment I opened my eyes until about 2 in the afternoon, but someone told me to keep a packet of ginger snaps next to my bed and would eat some before I got up and it really helped. Morning Sickness or Sickness any time can just happen. Infact i was at a restaurant with about 25 other people for a celebration dinner and I was about 3 months pregnant, and I felt like I was just sliding down under the table when someone grabbed me and brought me round and then i threw up all over the table! was very embarrassing....lol
I hope all goes well for you and your wee bundle. Good Luck

Oh I never had morning sickness....
With my first, it was evening I felt this way...so bad I didn't want to eat dinner at all!!
With this one (for the first trimester) I had ALL DAY sickness with MIGRAINES from H E L L!!!
It's totally normal to have it at ANYTIME of the day.
Sorry to hear you're having such discomfort with it! Go to your doctor if you can't eat or if it becomes bothersome, or if the puking becomes too much to handle...you can be prescribed some Diclectin for it. It worked like a charm for me!
Other things to try, is make sure you don't go too long without food. The hypoglycemia will make you nauseated and probably make you puke. Try keeping crackers close by...especially when you wake up in the morning....eat a few crackers before getting out of bed (this may prevent the MORNING part of sickness).
Good luck with it...it will get better!

The phrase "Morning" sickness is a load of Bull I'm sorry.
It does not happen "just" in the morning - it happens all bloody day every bloody day for some people! It can strike at any time. Some women get it really badly at night.
I got it all day all the time. It never went away. I also had to really watch what I ate and food that I used to eat with no problem suddenly made me really sick.
I want to hunt down the person who coined the phrase "Morning" Sickness and shove jalapeno chillies up their nose! Please don't be misled. It can happen at any time and usually does. Only a few very lucky women escape it altogether or "just" get it in the morning.

It's a miss leading name as it can happen anytime. I always felt sick but never actually was. The things that made me worse was butter or anything that was cooked in oil. The best thing to help is ginger. Try gingersnap biscuits, have some buy your bed if your sickness happens in the morning and try to eat 1 or 2 before you get out of bed. Or keep some with you during the day and take them when if you fell you are going to be sick

"Morning sickness" can happen at anytime during the day or night. It is called "morning" sickness because it seems that more women have it in the morning. Some women have it all day...I had it 24/7 during my 3rd month, then it went away. Keep plenty of green tea and saltine crackers on hand, they help with the "upset tummy" feeling and don't think you HAVE to vomit, not every woman does, just be sure to stay close to a bathroom or have a "puke bucket" like I did LOL

Forget "night sickness" or "morning sickness", I had 24 hour a day sickness! My bouts always followed with the actual thing but if you're just having bouts, I would say it's normal and one day you might even experience the actual thing. Don't worry yourself over this, you'll be fine. Situatuations like these are different for some people. Some people vomit, some people don't and some people just might feel like they're going to vomit but never do.

It's different for each person, when I was that far along I only got sick twice through my entire first trimester, however my second trimester was alot worse and that's when they say "morning sickness" should lighten up. Now, that I'm in my third I'm nausea's all the time but don't get sick. Just find out what works best for you to control it. For me it was eating before I was "too" hungry and eating filling foods. I hope this helps, but there's really not much you can do, unfortunately you're in it for the ride now and the little one in you is about to rock your world!

I never could understand why they called it morning sickness as it happens any time day or night. This is completely normal. Some lucky girls never get it. Some it lasts for a short time and others it can last 6-7 months. We're all different.

Sounds like you should go to an ob/gyn for a check. Pre-natal care is extremely important. You'd get vitamins and such and if you have a pukey pregnancy you definitely need them.
With my first I only puked if I over did it. That one is a son.
With the second I threw up for the whole 9 months, anywhere, anytime, even on the delivery table. That one is a daughter.
Just remember to enjoy the ride and have a healthy baby and keep yourself healthy.
