If you are thinking of THALASSAEMIA

look at the wiki page on the subject.

Thalassaemia is a little like sickle cell anaemia.

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking about though.

I guess hyperglycaemia is another possibility (high blood sugar)

I think you mean glycemia... The presence of glucose in the blood.
