No you're not. Thanks for bringing up a valid point: If you want to get high-quality answers to your questions, then your questions should be readable and make some kind of sense!
I'll get off my soapbox now...

For some people English is a second language. You can pretty much tell who they are and usually able to decipher their question.
Some people don't have questions but use this as a soapbox to say what they have to say. They tend to ramble on with long diatribes so that if you do take the time to read them you forgot the original question if there was one.
Then there are the ones who are mentally incapacitated for some reason and those are interesting in their creativity but that's about it.
There is a group who think that keyboarding shorthand is the ultimate in chic and you can tell those too. Their questions look like half the keys on their keyboard are malfunctioning.
Finally there are the boys who haven't reached puberty yet. They are the ones that ask the genital\body function questions. They think they are funny. They haven't caught on yet that everyone else thinks they are dumb.

No, you are not alone! Some people ask daft questions, no use of punctuation and write words in short that you cannot comprehend! Y! Answers should do something about it... like they do not accept it if it is not readable.
I hope something is done to correct this! In the beginning when I started answering questions, it was fun, but now I am getting bored trying to understand certain junk!

There are a lot of people from non-English speaking countries who are accessing the English channel, I guess because they are bored with their own languages. And then there are the usual illiterates from English speaking countries that did not or do not pay attention in English class.

No, you aren't the only one. I just ignore those that are here to just type random things, or can't spell, or whatever. Thank you for writing a real question :-)

My dear Felicity:
You are certainly not alone.
However, I think some of the questions are purposefully obtuse
so as to garner more creative answers.
It makes me crazy!

No...I saw one last night that was one continuous sentence that was a paragraph long. No punctuation, spelling all jacked up...you name it.

I know what you mean...some adults sound like they have to go back to nursery to learn punctuation and spelling, not to mention grammar.
