First of all -- the jobs that keep you busy and active and never in the same place twice DO occur in the Accounting Fields -- it is called the Cost Estimator -- the Price Estimator, the Auditor, and so many more.
Yes, Accountancy IS a lot of numbers -- and numbers can sing, tell a story of good work or fraud, talk about the people you have working on the assignment, what materials are used, and everything else about the health of the corporation you are examining.
Just how do I know this? I am an Accountant by my Bachelor's (and Financial Manager by Training in the Military -- Accession Speciality), then went on (and yes, you do have Basic Training to attend -- and more than one specialty code) to become an Acquisition Manager, a Cost/Price Estimator, a Contracts Manager, and many other related fields -- all because with my Accounting Background, and right with it in my original program of study was a LOT of Math, Hard Sciences, and challenging courses -- which led me into many opportunities where I learned even more and eventually obtained more than one graduate degree.
So if you love to travel, like numbers (and boy, did I travel with this background -- much more than I would have ever dreamed of!), then Accountancy is for you.
I do NOT recommend a political science degree because the career choices are so limited. Everyone NEEDS accountants all over the world -- and if you choose wisely, you can go all over the world.
So do not stop with just civilian career choices in this field -- go out, think about it, and EXPLORE the options of entering the Military to start off your career after you finish college. You still have time to enter the ROTC programs and complete them before your degree is finished, and I KNOW how much I enjoyed the career I had in the Military.

Well I am going to school right now for accounting. Then after I get my associates degree, I will find a temorary job until I can get enough money to transfer to a 4 year school. Then I will try a bachelors degree in something like financial analysis and eventually, something in the stock market.
So I figure I have to work a lot of crappy jobs in order to get what I really want.

Maybe real estate...? I build houses for a living,I travel to new sites all the time, never gets stale, and its very gratifying in two ways....One,its nice to be able to drive around and look at a building and say...I built that.Plus its cool when you drive by a house you built and see a family having a cookout,or kids playing in the yard. So,you could go into real estate, and use your accounting skills, and maybe even feel the same gratification knowing that you sold the house.

Accounting training is good, and you don't have to be an accountant. You could always get into sales. It really depends what you want out of life. If it's money, and you like people, get into sales. But whatever you do, do not spend time doing something you hate.

There are jobs in accounting that keep you moving and aren't just sitting at a desk all day. I recommend that you do some research on your own, and talk with a job counselor where you are studying, to check out all your options.
Good Luck in finding your niche

One thing to consider is seeking training in Forensic Accounting. While it may be not that different from Accounting, you would be trained to find irregularities that can become rewarding, especially if you later seek employment within law enforcement.
Who knows you may break the next WorldCom or Enron fiasco.

If you are good in science, you can try biology.or premed. You will have to spend more time to catch up the two years you lost. Otherwise, you can look into communication major, business degree in marketing or other area in the school of business. I would also suggest restaurant and hotel management, assuming your school offers it.

If you don't want to be an accountant you should change your major. Only you can decide what you want to do, but whatever you do you will need to communicate better than you do. So for your own good clean up your grammar.

Get the degree you want. You'd be better off to change and end up graduating with a degree you want, getting the job you want than to end up with a job you will hate. Follow your heart!
