The idea that shaving hair causes it to grow in thicker and darker is a myth. If that were true, all the balding men out there would have a sudden cure for their hairloss. Furthermore, women would be BEASTS by now, from all the leg shaving. Come on, think about it. There is no truth to that myth whatsoever. My only question for you is why is a teenage male, or any male for that matter, wanting to shave their pits? If you're not competing in swimming or bodybuilding, I don't understand the desire to do this.

You should start shaving your armpits. Especially nowadays every one is wearing sleeveless T shirts and when you raise your arm above your head the hair in the arm pits makes people uncomfortable, whereas a hairy arms or chest is much preferred. But hair under the armpits is TO BE REMOVED AT ALL COSTS. YOU MAY HAVE TO DO IT EVERY WEEK OR TWICE A WEEK...About the pubic region, do not shave...but get a fine scissor and close cut it....and keep trimming it as it grows... Follow my advice....You will be thankful....

find a good esthetician and get waxed. don't go to those oriental horror shops. they are disgusting and dirty and don't do waxing well. find someone that uses hard wax rather then strip wax and u will be forever changed.
hair: cons -dirty, smelly, sweaty and ugly
pros- some like that, some don't care
waxing: cons: painful( but you can tolerate)
pros: no sweating or minimal, fresh and clean, girls
like it.
when i started to date my boyfriend and saw his bushes, i said oh my g-d. what is that. can u at least trim it. mind you, he did and does not smell. he did and it was OK. then i told him about waxing, and he tried it. now he is asking me to make him an appointment with our waxer. he loves it sand he said that he couldn't believe that he hardly ever sweats anymore. and he works in a hot truck all day long. he gets Brazilian bikini
(everything off in pubic area) and underarms.
in addition, when waxed, your hair wont come back for as long as 2 to 4 weeks. and even if a little comes in a bit, its ok since you are a male. and lastly dont be shy about it. men that are sure of their masculinity and are ok with their bodies do get waxed. especially urban and modern people.
good luck

You are a male and why should you bother about this. You can allow it to grow. Only thing you will get bad odour and sweat in certain climatic conditions. You should clean the places regularly while taking bath and also apply powder etc.

You're not too hairy. You are comparing yourself with the guys in the locker room that haven't finished puberty. A lot of guys, like me, don't grow any hair until much later, and it's weak at that.

Shaving of your arm pits. I don't think so..Trim yes but not shave. I think that on a man looks gay.
As far as down below--I have sat here and tried to visualize a bald one and it's not happening. Sorry

it really is totally a own decision. I trimmed mine many years in the past, and that i regretted it, as all of them grew decrease back and it damage for weeks because it felt like coarse sand paper down there. it isn't necessary to eliminate those hairs. in case you want to look at the quite a few sorts of hair eliminating suggestions.

To hairy for what? Is it bothering you?offending someone somehow? What works for your friend may not be what is good for you...It's a personal hygiene issue. at 17 you know how to take care of your body.

Keeping your public region clean and under control can reduce a condition known as "jock" itch sexually active females often get yeast infections from males who are suffering from jock Itch so if trimming pubic hair helps that area stay clean I say trim it! I have had jock itch before believe me you don't wanna get it.
