You certainly got me. I thought this was a raunchy question and was interested in that study but it turned out to be about vegetables! Is that what married life is? Discussions about drinking vegetable water being healthier than not drinking it? Man.. you are eatin the vegetables. How far do we have to go with this measuring, low fat, healthy crap? If you like the taste, drink it. If not just eat the damn vegetables

Many of the nutrients from vegetables are lost in the boiling process, but this is the first time that I've heard that drinking the water has any health benefits. I'd rather just take my daily vitamin and eat the vegetables either raw or in their cooked state.

Even healthier would be to eat the vegetables raw, however the water from boiling vegetables is nutritious.

I'm so glad you asked us first! The answer to that is ABSOLUTELY NOT! When vegetables are boiled, their nutrients are destroyed by the intense heat. So don't listen to your wife; that crap she's trying to get you to drink is nothing but vegetable-flavored water. DON'T DRINK IT!

Instead of drinking the water straight, you could use it in a recipe like a homemade soup. It is full of nutrients, but I'd rather find another way.

The hotter something gets the less value it has. It would be much much better to eat the vegetables in its raw form.

Can't you just eat vegetable soup, wouldn't it tecnically be the same? I wouldn't just drink that water unless it was seasoned to a good taste.
