My brother's baby girl is teething. She just turned one. I noticed that her bottom teeth which have come in look transparent. Does anyone know why?

Its called a 'milk tooth' some babys get them, it should fall out and a 'real' tooth will come in.

I know in adults it's due from teeth whitening, is something being used that contains some type of active ingredient? Does she get enough calcium?

They are new. Was mom or baby on antibiotics? That can cause weak enamel.

THEY ALWAYS LOOK LIKE THAT WHEN THEY FIRST COME IN. THEY SHOULD BE GIVING HER FLOURIDE DROPS (IF IT'S NOT ADDED IN THEIR TAP WATER)
