I'm in the process right now. 1 sweet year and counting... I hate work (or should I say CO workers) and avoid it and them at all costs!

From 1997 to 2004, my job went to India 3 times. I was out of work for 3 months, 11 months & 15 months. Each time the break gets longer, I had more money in my bank, to cover expenses while unemployed and I ended up in a better job. I think there is a pattern that will lead to retirement eventually - I'll just get to a point when I'm out of work for the following 100 years or so & have ten million dollars in my checking account maybe ;-)

Since Jan 2003. Everyone on my shift got terminated at once. That was due to the company owing us upwards of $2,000 back pay for hiring new stna's at higher wage then us, and we found out. Instead of paying us the back pay they fired us and ended up paying us more through unemployment than they would of paid us our back pay. Now I am in school and when I graduate I will go back to work. I can do this because my husband has a decent job that provides enough for the family.

I was a stay at home mom until I was 35, when my youngest started kindergarten. Then I only worked part time until the boys were old enough to stay home alone for a few hours.

i was with out a job for about 11/2 years....i have worked sence i was 15...& still going.

from birth to about 16 years old. Damn, that's a long time not to be making any money...freakin' child labor laws
