Yes, they're backwardly compatible.
The only thing is that USB1 is slightly slower so it'll take longer for you to transfer the music across to the player.

It should work fine, the only real difference between USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 is the data transfer speed. Good luck.

You should be able to transfer for mp3 to PC..

But, it may not work in reverse. It depends if the mp3 is backward compatitble.

Check the paperwork that came with your mp3, or go to their website. The answer will be there.

Yes, but at about one fortieth of the speed! Why not buy a usb2 card and give yourself 3-5 fast connectors, should only cost about a tenner.

It will work but it work as the speed of usb1 which is much slower when transfering files

yes it would...the only difference would be in the transfer speeds....USB2.0 has a faster transfer rate as compared to Usb1.0
