Your wife may need medical attention to rule out depression, a hormone imbalance, diabetes, or some other medical reasonl
Depression could make someone gain weight, and lose interest in sex. But so can anti-depressants, so if she is diagnosed as depressed, she should tell the doctor first (before he prescribes something) that she doesnt want something that has weight gain and low sex drive as a common side effect.
Regular exercise will help her lose weight, feel less depressed, and maybe sexier as a result.
Hormone levels, if they're off, can cause weight gain and affect sex drive. If she's near menopause, or going through it, there are drugs to counter the effects of menopause. She should have her thyroid checked too, that can cause weight gain.
If someone has diabetes and doesn't know it, they could be overweight from that, and fatigued, thus I'd imagine less into sex.
Maybe you both could exercise together? Start working on being closer in your relationship, treat her more like a girlfriend and romance her, and maybe she would want sex. If you can't accomplish this, maybe counseling would work.
Let your wife know your needs, and if you love her tell her, but let her know they're NEEDS....and see if she's willing to do what it takes to make things better--ask HER if she would want you to find someone who would meet your needs? Maybe the thought of this alone would spur her to action...some women are like that....Then again....many men forget the art of SEDUCTION when they've been with someone a long time! Maybe you need to romance, seduce, and woo her like you did a long time ago!? Also: remember the brain is the most important sex organ--you can't be a jerk all day and then expect a woman to want you! (unless your relationship is new lol...)

In New York, its known as "constructive abandonment". If your spouse refuses to have sex with you for 1 year or more, you have the right to sue for divorce, and theres no way of proving otherwise (unless youre pregnant, of course).

Yes she has the right to refuse sex. My wife says that she is fat and she is not, sh'e 130. Just try to convince her that she is not fat. It has nothing to do with you it is her own self esteem. There is a law at least where I live, it is called marital rape. So just sit down and talk to her. I don't think it is a good reason for a divorce.

You need to make your wife feel beautiful. Not run off and cheat on her. Your vows say for better or worse. Be a husband make your wife feel special. If you love her and value her you will be a man and do this, not run when the going gets tough

I can imagine that women would say "no" to the first question and men would say "yes". Marriage is only a legal bond when it comes to taxes and insurance, etc. so with the exception of the dirty looks you'll get from conservatives everywhere, there is nothing holding you back from finding sex elsewhere

If your love for her is more than your love for sex, then you won't leave her, divorce her or cheat on her. If your love for sex is more than your love for her, by all means dump her.
