there is a possiblity that i may be prego, the symptoms i have are sore nipples, faint spell happened a few days ago, sometimes i get a wave of nasea, very exhausted, and i'm anemic for no apparent reason even tho i've been taking iron since may. i also pee a lot. i'm 22 in school and i work. my bf doesn't feel comfy with the idea that i might, i took a preg test last month and it was neg. my doctor wants me to come in and ask me a few questions, and send me in for a sonogram. to be honest i don't mind if iam but he keeps telling me hes not ready. i'm very frustrated right now b/c i'm bipolar and if i am prego the medication may be harmful to the baby. so this is really serious. i have to go to the doc tomorrow, we did have the withdrawal method. i think i might be 3 wks if i really am.am i really prego????

Why don't you undergo another test for pregnancy. You may also like to test for urinary tract infection, as if you are not pregnant then the symptoms you describe are more likely to be related to a urinary tract infection.

You said you took a test last month, but you should take another one.

Also, if you are three weeks pregnant, you would not have these symptoms yet. Pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period, so I'm guessing you'd actually be 5 weeks, not 3? If that's the case, a test would turn positive if you are pregnant. If it's only been 3 weeks since your period wait to see if you miss your next one.

You can have ALL the symptoms of pregnancy and not be pregnant, trust me.

Sweetie, you could be. But, if you have been stressing over being pregnant (for example, for some reason you THOUGHT you were), you can create pregnancy symptoms, even so far as your breasts producing milk. The human mind is strange that way. Also, you could be pregnant and tests state that you're not. So, the best advice I can offer is this: Don't stress over it. Wait and see what happens when you go to the doctor. Then, anything that's bothering you, talk to your doctor about. They can give you options and offer better advice than anyone can.

I'm not psychic so I don't know. But if you took a pregnancy test and it was negative then I'd say no. It seems weird that your doc wants to do a sonogram without first doing another pregnancy test.

Also, FYI--the withdrawl method doesn't work because there is this stuff called pre-ejaculate that also contains sperm. So your man doesn't even have to reach orgasm for you to be pregnant.

Withdrawl method is not safe. Three pregnancys for me on it. But I have been married all the while... You should wait another week and take another test. Then if you are luckyMake him use a condom since HE is the one not ready....

I am sorry to hear that, and I am sure that it will work out. But in the future, THERE IS NO WITHDRAWAL METHOD. Use protection. Even if you b/f pulls out, he still ejaculates a little, and there is a chance of p/g.
