If you are injecting your self for any reason, you should have checked out how to do it. Such as making sure it is injected into the muscle or veins etc. You could have spoke to a doctor or nurse and even checked on line for such information. Injecting your self can be dangerous unless you know what you are doing. But in the case of injection in the butt, it should be in fleshier part of it. Would think it would be the upper part several inches below the hip bone.
The bottom line is YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO DO IT BEFORE YOU DO AND NOT DEPEND ON ANSWERS FROM STRANGERS ON A WEB SITE.
In past I used to do self injections, but made sure I knew what I was doing through
medical books and physicians

The doctor that ordered the medication should have had his nurse show you how to do this. You need to call their office before you attempt to inject yourself and ask them to tell you what to do. If you get it in the tissue of your butt it will not work or if you hit the sciatic nerve you are going to be in a lot of pain.

Airman...if you are not using an illegal "solution", then the doctor that prescribed it would have given you instructions.

Sounds fishy...
