I'm thinking about getting some for my work PC (just to be smart xD) but there's no way I'd be allowed to install new drivers on my workstation. If XP has native support for them though then that's great.

Native support means you can plug them in and they work without any additional drivers/software.

Although I guess it's not native support in XP's case, it just tends to have 3rd party drivers lying around in it's INF folder...

Yes, I have seen someone using USB speakers on windows XP. And he did not install any additional software for it.

Typically yes, if they are plug and play, which they should be since they are USB, but it probably depends on the the speakers.

mmm well if Windows XP ever spoke to me... then I'd be happier that I knew it had a native tongue and it would have native support ?? LOL
